Can app developers make it work? Apple's move into original television, that is. 
Yes, the company has gone Hollywood with its first TV series, a reality show called,  Planet of the Apps(no joke). 
The 10-episode series "celebrates the world of apps and the talented people who create them," according to the press release. 
It premiered Tuesday night on Apple Music, and is hosted by Zane Lowe, the DJ/producer with a radio show on Beats 1. 

Also appearing on the show will be executive producers Jessica Alba, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Gwyneth Paltrow, who will drop some hot GOOP knowledge on the hopeful contestants.
