A tech expert, Ola Ajibola says, that the days whereby people wait to get millions of views in order to smile to the bank is over.
Speaking as a guest on the programme Today on STV, the Tech Guru revealed that he has a background in , computer science, computer networking and engineering, web designing, digital marketing, content creation, platform creation and distribution.
He stated further that , Knowledge comes from learning, practicing, researching, failing and starting all over again to get it right; which has in turn helped him to know about channel management, audience groove, and to prevent content from online piracy, to make sure no other person uses it.
Explaining further, he stated that Content creations has to do with percentage than money saying that there is content creation, the platform itself, and the marketing aspect.
He said, he understands the failures and challenges most of the platform experience and lot of people try to do what he is doing but few amongst them are professionals, urging and encouraging creative minds to come in because it is a big market.
Concerning his expliots, he said, he has started the Nolly Cinema, though not launched and manages the media channels of some friends like Acapela, Ajebo, Sean Tizzle, Chidi Chike and twenty others
In the area of monetization, he said, it is dependent on the kind of content one is creating, volume and quality of advert that run on it and the location at which people are enjoying the content.
He urged Nigerians to join the creative circle because he is creating a space for creative people where there will be equipment, space, and internet, so an individual will just to come with an idea only.
In his concluding words, he mentioned factors like: location and watch time as the things that matters in the content business.
