Canadian Actor, William Shatner has become the oldest person ever to travel to space at the age of 90-year-old.
Shatner was not the only person that went on the trip but was accompanied by three other passengers in an 11-minute Blue Origin flight, developed by Jeff Bezos’ rocket company.
The three crewmates are: Chris Boshuizen, a co-founder of satellite company Planet Labs, and software executive Glen de Vries, who’re both paying customers, and Audrey Powers, Blue Origin’s vice president of mission and flight operations.
Shatner who has had seven decades of acting and best known for his portrayal of Captain James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise in the Star Trek franchise, jerked a ride aboard a suborbital spacecraft that grazed the edge of outer space before parachuting to a landing.
Shatner before landing on the flight livestream made a comment, He said, “That was unlike anything they described.”
The same vehicle that took Bezos himself to space this summer.
