TwitterInc had laid offhalf its workforce on Friday but said cuts were smaller in theteamresponsible for preventing the spread of misinformation, as advertisers pulled spending amid concerns about content moderation, Reuters reports.
According to the affected company staff whom took to twitter on Friday said the layoff affected teams responsible for communications, content curation, human rights and machine learning ethics as well as some product and engineering teams.
