Musk claims the altercation with Zuckerberg will be broadcast live on X

In a social media post, Elon Musk claimed that the cage match he had in mind with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg would be broadcast live on social media network X, formerly known as Twitter.

Since June, the owners of social media have been encouraging a mixed martial arts cage fight in Las Vegas.

The Musk vs. Zuck fight will be broadcast live on X. Without providing any other information, Musk stated in a post on X early on Sunday morning that all earnings would be donated to a veterans’ organization.

Musk had previously stated on X earlier on Sunday that he was “lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight,” and that he brought the weights to work because he didn’t have time to work out.

It’s a civilized form of combat, Musk said when a user on X questioned the purpose of the conflict. Men love to fight.

An inquiry for comment regarding Musk’s post received no response from Meta.

The controversy started when Musk said in a post on June 20 that he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, who has jiujitsu training.

A day later, Musk, 51, was asked to “send location” for the proposed fight by Zuckerberg, 39, who has shared images of victories on his company’s Instagram platform. Musk responded, “Vegas Octagon,” referring to an arena where mixed martial arts (MMA) championship fights are held.

Musk then declared that if the cage battle materialized, he would begin training.
