Adobe co-founder John Warnock dies at 82

Adobe co-founder John Warnock passed away on Saturday at the age of 82, the company announced in a statement early on Sunday.

His death’s cause wasn’t made public.

Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen wrote in an email to staff, “It is a sad day for the Adobe community and the industry for which he has been an inspiration for decades.

Warnock and Charles Geschke founded Adobe together in 1982. He left his role as CEO in 2000 and held the joint chairmanship of the board alongside Geschke until 2017.
